We come here frequently. German style cuisine at affordable prices. Staff is fast and friendly. Food is always phenomenal. Great for a walk-in lunch, or make reservations for the Friday dinner buffet.

This place feels like a quality old-time "Mom and Pop" family restaurant, although perhaps "Pop and Pop" would be more accurate. The entire staff seems to care about quality. I don't think we have ever had anything that tastes or looks like it came out of a can or the freezer. Sometimes service is slow, but the items on the Lunch Menu come out of the kitchen quickly. I am not sure if the food is authentically German, but it is very good quality.

It's a cozy little place and feels very homey. Everyone is helpful and friendly. The prices are extremely reasonable and you definitely get your fill. Great selection of desserts too! The cabbage roll I had is the best I've ever eaten and I recommend the bean salad. My friend was enamored of the hot German potato salad. Will go here again, hopefully soon.

Great german food. Friday night buffet with reservations. You better love sauerkraut and german chocolate cake. Seating in a room covered with pictures of Germany. The hosts are delightful and the food delicious.

Great place for simple, good German fare. Sweet and sour red cabbage was on point, and the people were quite kind, even pointing out that what I ordered was the same price as a special, but the special came with yet another sausage! Came empty, left full.

Friendly service, amazing food! I ordered the variety plate which had a pergoi, a cabbage roll, and a polish sausage. My sides were fried potatoes, and sauerkraut. They even gave me an extra side because they had just sold out of the hot german potato salad. The food is delicious!! Will definitely be back!

Excellent, authentic food. Weekly specials are great, but if you cant decide, the sampler platter is a great choice. Lots of awesome desserts as well!

This is a very unique place. Small and the only choice in town for Deutsche style with an American twist. No alcoholic beverages but great dessert.

Hadn’t been there for years wife and I went today and all I can say was the food was awesome ... The owner was extremely friendly great atmosphere we will be going back frequently from now on ...I was craving hot German potato salad and I thought it was very good ... good job guys !!!!

this place is amazing if you are looking for some authentic German food then you've come to the right place. literally you can chose anything in the menu and you wont be disappointed at all, not to mentioned the high selection of German beer that they have!

I came here a late evening for a quick bite after working out. I Got seated pretty fast and my food came out quick, hot and fresh and it was delicious and I loved the sand which it was good and fresh and went well with my fanta, so classic german quick bite

The food is good, but they need to find a solution for the parking problem. Parking on the streets in front of homes makes the residents of the neighborhood upset.

The food is a German delight. I had the sampler platter so I could taste a variety of offerings. It included a pierogi, a fresh made cabbage roll, bratwurst and my 2 sides of choice sweet and sour red cabbage and German fried potatoes. Delightful food and a huge portion to attempt to consume at lunch. The red cabbage was by far my favorite. I brought a full serving of the cabbage home to extend the unique taste sensation for one more meal. If you like German food or are interested in extending your palate experiences, this is a MUST visit. Keep in mind the hours of operation are very limited - only open until 2pm Monday thru Friday and the occasional Friday night buffet offering which is so popular that it requires advance reservations since seating is limited. Make this a food destination. You won't be sorry if you like the flavors and seasonings of German & Bavarian regional cuisines.

Awesome German restaurant in St. Joe. We were travelling and stopped for lunch. Great service, tasty food, and fun kitchsy atmosphere. Hot German potato salad and red cabbage were very good. Also, huge selection of tasty desserts. We split the sweets sampler! Will be back if we're in the area again! Would highly recommend.

The food here is great. The man that took our order, very pleasant and helpful. We had just finished up our lunch and this extremely rude man came to inform us that they were closed. We didn't realize that they did in fact close at 2:00, no one had even brought our ticket over. So ,as good as the food was, I won't be back.

Great homeade food as if cooked by grandma!The owners could not be more kind, genuine and friendly.The dessert though, that's where it's at, made from scratch and decadent AF. Bottom line this isn't your average restaurant with employees that just want paid etc. This is a labor of love by people that truly enjoy their craft.

A small little place big in heart. I visited with my mom for lunch and we enjoyed it very much as our food was quite good. I must say the best part of my visit was watching a small boy with his grandpa devour a huge piece of chocolate cake all by himself! 😁 Yes, they have delicious desserts too!
